Ahhh Chocolate...

Some days there's just nothing better.
Being a new "Brooklyn-ite" (with a cake business at that), I decided I should get out and begin to explore this amazing borough and all it has to offer.

So I set out the other morning and visited 5 or 6 bakeries to see what kind of cake is being baked up around here.

(The picture of the chocolate cake is just to hopefully make you want to come back! This is my chocolate cake, which, I might add--with no biased opinion--is still my favorite of all other chocolate cakes I've tried. It is filled with Gianduja Buttercream and covered in pink fondant.)

Princess Faith

Did you hear??? Princess Faith came to town this weekend and celebrated her 27th birthday!

What else do you give a Princess on her birthday besides a royal pink shimmery, rich chocolate cupcake?
These cupcakes were oozing with chocolate ganache (her favorite!), iced with chocolate buttercream and topped with a pretty princess tiara.



As you can see, she enjoyed them!


4 LOVE
Saturday night, Nicole, Janelle, and I took her out to eat and had a great time. The four of us haven't been together in a while, so this reunion was long overdue!
We ate sushi and fried Green Tea ice cream, talked about our dreams, and tried to convince Faith to move back to New York!



We finally said our goodbyes and sent Faith home with lots of "Love".
Happy Birthday Princess - we can't wait to see you again!
